Vision

Hello creatives, folks and science people! Here I will grab the opportunity and start the article in terms of what I believe is inspiring, what are some good thoughts and thoughts worthy of staying, addressing our need to begin a discussion on vision. I will begin with my own logic behind visions and continue with becoming tangible about it. Before I even begin of talking about having a vision especially for The Luminous Quanta Project, let’s find seeds, philosophical inquiries, motivation and other stuff from the environment. Argumentation on the cause-and-effect side of life. Here we go:

A. The Logic Behind Vision

Thoughts worthy of staying, on our power of never giving up and continue dreaming and byproducts of art, science, business, movies, etc, can exemplify a mind in terms of getting to the appropriate timing of thinking big, of what comes next and what it means to envision making a difference. For example:

1. Making the round of the world and getting rich cosmopolitan experiences…

2. Entering the university after retirement – at the age of 65, 70 – the way quite a few people have become subjects in the media in terms of the power of dreaming and that we’re never too old to plan things

3. Steve Job’s speech at Stanford – we’ll get to that later on in this article

4. The Harvard Commencement Speech of Rowling related with her successes and failures

5. Motivational speeches in YouTube

6. National Geographic’s photography expeditions

7. Jules Verne’s visions

8. Research Stations in the Arctic & Antarctica

9. How Google changed the world in terms of how we think, work or travel

Examples of Inspiration. But what is it that make some dreamers make it and some others merely daydreaming, failing or trying over and over again?

If you have experience, you’ll find out that a vision in most cases succeeds by becoming tangible, by getting to objectives and another line of difference - if you pay attention to the previous examples - lies on the denominator of talking - this is related to the quote at the picture -… Writing a book is more tangible than writing a movie.

For example, if you say in the tumultuous world of 2024 that you want to become a tycoon, you may find out that you don’t know what happens in a period of 6 months, but if you say I want to get to know and familiarize with the ecumenical impact of the math of quanta, first of all there’s something ecumenical, it’s a flaming science and there’s potential for plenty of growth especially if this vision is present and not mere fantasy… The same thing goes if you say you want to get to know the secrets of life as a biologist… Tangible, objective and on the appropriate denominator.

Nevertheless, previous examples denoted something more liberal and out of the cave when it comes to making visions so let’s proceed with becoming concrete about it.

B. The Vision

Inceptions of science were due to people that were in love with life: they loved the beauty of the mountains, the stars and the seas and because they loved all that they wanted to get to know them better…!

The vision of this project lies on the principle that mathematics are not a privilege of an elite of philosophers, theologists or scientists but permeate every human activity and are revealed to… those who have learnt to interpret the backend script behind the phenomena that surround us – here I become a little bit theatrical -, cause-and-effect.

Before I exemplify to you the fact that math is not merely a science, recall – especially those of you that have listened parts of the speech – the message of Steve Job’s speech at Stanford to point out the epitome that "our time is limited". We should not spend it by trying to live someone else’s life and that’s the most important part in vision making…

Motion of celestial bodies, game theory, econometrics, strange attractors, the chaos of financial boards, hidden symmetries in nature like the one of Fibonacci, the butterfly effect, games of luck, pure modelling, modern cryptography, artificial intelligence, quantum computers and theoretical physics, mathematical maps, mathematical mining like that of the algorithm of Google, etc, are all examples that prove math exist everywhere and are here to create positive difference.

In most of the cases, it lays on the profile of the researcher scientist to feel that he is ready not to get lost only in the piles and the enormous volumes of book work, to prove that science is firstly a work of others, but start downloading Google papers he finds exciting and interesting and experiment on his own. There can be many other methods especially when it comes to approaching a case study in terms of The Luminous Quanta Project, but the awe of nature’s grandeur lies first on the fact that, inspiration can come from anywhere as it relies on the idiosyncrasy of the scientist…

Aren’t the previous examples a good reason to believe that answers in life should firstly come out of science?

Have a great time folks!
